Tingkat Keberdayaan Petani Padi dalam Program Indeks Penanaman (IP) 300 di Kabupaten Pidie, Provinsi Aceh

Pemberdayaan petani merupakan proses beraneka segi yang melibatkan peningkatan kapasitas mereka untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian, beradaptasi dengan tantangan, dan mencapai mata pencaharian yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat keberdayaan petani dan pengaruh karakteristik petani, intensitas pemberdayaan dan dukungan eksternal terhadap tingkat keberdayaan petani. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menjelaskan pengaruh hubungan dan pengaruh antar variable-variabel di Kecamatan Keumala, Kabupaten Pidie pada bulan Agustus-September 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 130 orang responden. Analisa data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square (PLS) melalui bantuan aplikasi smartPLS.3.2.9. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keberdayaan petani padi IP 300 di Kecamatan Keumala dikategorikan tinggi. Faktor-faktor yang secara signifikan memengaruhi keberdayaan petani padi dalam program IP 300 di Kabupaten Pidie adalah intensitas pemberdayaan (intensitas pengembangan kemampuan teknis, intensitas pengembangan perilaku inovatif, dan ketepatan metode penyuluhan) dan dukungan eksternal (ketersediaan infrastruktur, dukungan tokoh tani, dan dukungan kebijakan pemerintah), sedangkan karakteristik petani (pendidikan non formal, luas lahan dan motivasi) berpengaruh tidak sifinikan terhadap tingkat keberdayaan petani padi program IP 300 di Kabupaten Pidie.
