PENGARUH TINGKAT UMUR PEMOTONGAN PARUH TERHADAP PERTAMBAHAN BERAT BADAN, KONSUMSI PAKAN, KONVERSI PAKAN DAN UMUR MULAI BERTELUR PADA BURUNG PUYUH

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat umur pemotongan paruh
terhadap pertambahan berat badan konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan dan umur mulai bertelur.
Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai informasi pada umur berapa pemotongan
paruh burung puyuh dilakukan agar didapat pertambahan berat badan, konsumsi pakan,
konversi pakan yang optimal dan umur mulai bertelur yang lebih muda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat umur pemotongan paruh tidak berpengaruh
terhadap pertambahan berat badan (P > 0,05), berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi pakan (P < 0,05)
dan sangat berpengaruh (P < 0,01) terhadap konversi pakan. Hasil terbaik pada perlakuan P3
dan terhadap umur mulai bertelur dengan urutan terbaik pada perlakuan P4 dan P3.
