EFISIENSI USAHATANI PADI DI INDONESIA
Abstract
Ketersediaan pangan terutama padi selalu menjadi fokus utama tiap rezim pemerintahan. Peran penyuluh pertanian menjadi salah satu faktor penting disamping faktor produksi lainnya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi usahatani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi padi secara nasional dan mengetahui tingkat efisiensi ekonomi usahatani padi nasional. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yaitu data cross section 33 provinsi di Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor produksi lahan, benih, pupuk urea, dan jumlah penyuluh pertanian PNS bidang pangan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi padi secara nasional, sedangkan faktor produksi pupuk SP-36 dan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh secara nyata. Faktor-faktor produksi yang berpengaruh nyata tersebut penggunaannya belum efisien secara ekonomi. Penggunaan aktual faktor produksi tersebut harus ditambah atau dikurangi sehingga mencapai penggunaan faktor produksi optimal.Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
