PENGARUH PEMBERIAN DEDAK PADI TERHADAP PERTAMBAHAN BOBOT BADAN DOMBA DI KECAMATAN PANUMBANGAN

dengan rata-rata berat badan 18 kg dan bangsa domba Garut yang dialokasikan dua
perlakuan. Setiap perlakuan menggunakan empat kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan
adalah pemberian dedak padi selama 49 hari. Kaji terap dilaksanakan di Kecamatan
Panumbangan Kabupaten Ciamis
Perlakuan pertama (P0) sebagai kontrol diberi pakan rumput lapangan, perlakuan kedua
(P1) diberi pakan rumput lapangan ditambah dedak 0.18 kg. Penimbangan untuk mengetahui
pertambahan berat badan dilakukan setiap 7 hari sekali untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan bobot
badan.
Berdasarkan analisa uji t diketahui bahwa rata-rata pertambahan berat badan harian
(PBBH) pada perlakuan dedak berbeda nyata (P<0.05) dengan PBBH 76.12 gr/ekor/hari dan
pada perlakuan kontrol pertambahan berat badan mencapai 40.36 gr/ekor/hari. Hasil analisa
ekonomi menunjukkan bahwa nilai B/C dari perlakuan yang diberi pakan tambahan berupa
dedak padi adalah 1.07, sedangkan domba yang hanya diberikan rumput lapang saja nilai B/C
hanya mencapai 1.0.
