PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EM JAMU UNTUK ITIK GEMBALA TERHADAP PRODUKSI DAN BOBOT TELUR
Abstract
Enam puluh ekor itik Karawang berumur 7 bulan dengan rata-rata bobot badan 1,4 kg
dipergunakan untuk mengukur pengaruh pemberian EM Jamu terhadap produksi dan bobot
telur itik yang digembalakan. Pengkajian dilakukan selama 30 hari di Kecamatan Telagasari
Kabupaten Karawang, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan dua perlakuan dan dua
ulangan. Masing-masing ulangan terdiri atas 15 ekor itik.
Dari tiap perlakuan diperoleh produksi telur 157 butir dengan rata-rata 5,23 butir (P0U1),
158 butir dengan rata-rata 5,27 butir (P0U2), 209 butir dengan rata-rata 6,97 butir (P1U1) dan
223 butir dengan rata-rata 7,43 butir (P1U2). Sedangkan untuk bobot telur diperolah hasil ratarata
63,79 gram (P0U1), 63,61 gram (P0U2), 66,34 gram (P1U1) dan 66,97 gram (P1U2).
Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan metode pengolahan data One Way Clasification
pada produksi telur menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang nyata pada jumlah telur untuk
itik yang diberi EM Jamu dengan itik yang tidak diberi EM Jamu. Begitu juga hasil analisis
statistik terhadap bobot telur menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara ternak
itik yang diberi EM Jamu dengan yang tidak diberi EM Jamu.
